Yes, I'd probably choose Evangelion, or maybe Berserk for the theme...maybe Gunnm to be original ^^

Considering my kind of anime...well, I love Neon Genesis Evangelion and Berserk for their great deep storys...on the other hand, I enjoy Trigun for the humor and Cowboy Beebop for the sheer coolness in it ^^
i like alot of different anime...but not to cheap (eventhough Berserk is cheesy ), like your avarage highschool story about this nerdy boy who suddenly has five girls chasing him and so on...so yeah, most anime on the market is basicaly shit :P
